Poland: Forced holiday leave in 4.0 Anti-Crisis Act

Pursuant to the 4.0 Anti-Crisis Act, during the period of pandemic state or threat of epidemic state announced due to COVID-19, the employer may send the employee on up to 30 days of leave not used by the employee in previous calendar years, within the time indicated by the employer, without the consent of the employee, and without the vacation plan. The employee is obliged to use such leave in the time indicated by the employer.

The regulation only concerns the leave not used by the employee in previous calendar years and not the leave due in the current calendar year.
