New partners Mark Zega and Jane Gooding bring over 30 years of combined experience in labour and employment law to the firm.

Mark Zega has wide-ranging expertise in administrative, education and health law. An experienced litigator, he represents clients in both the public and private sectors. “I’m delighted to join a team with a strong presence throughout Ontario,” Mark said. “I look forward to assisting employers with their most challenging human resources issues.”

Jane Gooding focuses primarily on labour, human resources and public law. Jane has appeared before private arbitrators, the Human Rights Tribunal, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and all levels of court in Ontario.

Kamila Polus joins FWTA as a third-year associate. Kamila is a recipient of the Ted Wohl Prize in Labour Law, as well as the Cavalluzzo Hayes Shilton McIntyre & Cornish Award in Labour Law. Kamila is fluent in Polish.

FWTA’s new offices are located at 1 King Street West in Hamilton, one of the region’s main commerce hubs.
