FWTA’s James G. Knight Honoured with Volunteer of the Year Award

James (Jamie) G. Knight, Partner at Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP | L&E Global Canada, was recently honored with the Roy Heenan/Dave Ross Volunteer of the Year Award by the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers (CACE).

Jamie was the recipient of the Roy Heenan/Dave Ross Volunteer of the Year Award at this year’s CACE conference. Jamie was selected for this award in recognition of all of his work in organizing the CACE Human Rights Group, related calls and webinars and, of course, the publications that have been produced. During his acceptance speech, Jamie noted the Ebola crisis and urged those attending to offer help and make donations.

The Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers (CACE) is an association of management-side labour and employment lawyers across Canada.
