Prof. Arkadiusz Sobczyk nominated Member of Poland’s Labour Law Codification Commission

L&E Global would like to congratulate our colleague Prof. Arkadiusz Sobczyk, Managing Partner at A. Sobczyk & Wspó?pracownicy Law Office, on his recent nomination by Poland’s Minister of Justice to the newly established Labour Law Codification Commission.

The Minister of Justice has entrusted the Commission with completing two ambitious tasks within a period of 18 months:

• to draw up a new Labour Code to replace the current one, which is 42 years old; and
• to codify the branch of collective labour law, currently divided into numerous different Acts.

Prof. Sobczyk will be responsible for managing the team called upon to formulate a new Labour Code and we wish him success in the months to come!
