Zhong Lun Hosts Employment Forum on ‘Offense and Defense of Talent Flow’

Zhong Lun partner Anderson Zhang, together with the Chinese Corporate Counsel Alliance (“CCA”) and Ma Yuanchao’s team of lawyers, jointly organised a forum on 12 April on the theme of non-competition restrictions and trade secret practices, named “Offense and Defense of Talent Flow”. Recently, great emphasis has been placed on trade secrets since the disputes of trade secrets arise more and more frequently in China. In addition, trade secrets are usually connected with the flow of talent. With the development of the Internet, the methods to infringe trade secrets have been diverse, which brings new challenges to companies and lawyers. The forum presented an overview of multiple functions and practical uses of non-competition clauses and provided guidance on how companies may manage their trade secrets and protect the corresponding interests.
