Romania: The number of working permits for non-EU employees has been increased

Taking into consideration the fact that until 23 August 2019, the maximum number of new working permits that were approved for 2019 had almost been reached, the government took the decision to increase the maximum number of working permits that can be issued for non-EU employees in 2019. The increase is proportional to the number of working permits issued in the first 8 months. The decision took into consideration the fact that employers in specific industries face a shortage of employees, with a registered 60.000 jobs that are continuously unoccupied.
