Corina Radu is a partner and co-leads the firm’s international practice.

She has been practicing labour and employment law for over 15 years, providing legal advice and representing, in front of courts, renowned multinational companies with businesses in various sectors, including electronics, automotive, oil and gas, aeronautics, IT, media, banking, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics etc.

Corina is highly experienced in complex matters pertaining to collective negotiations, collective labour disputes, business restructuring and collective redundancies, transfer of undertakings, cross-border postings, flexible and smart working, drafting collective labour agreements, internal regulations and policies, implementing specific procedures related to the termination of employment.
Her expertise also includes providing assistance to large companies with respect to social dialogue issues and assisting clients in their relationships with the trade unions and employees’ representatives, as well as a significant litigation practice.

She has a particular focus on assisting international clients with employment law challenges, advising them on employment compliance strategies and various issues.

Ștefania Stanciu is a senior attorney at the law firm Magda Volonciu & Asociatii at their secondary office in Constanta, Romania. Her practice focuses on all aspects of Romanian and European Labour and Employment Law. She has a litigation practice that covers both collective and individual disputes involving private companies and also manages cases that involve public servants. She is effectively consolidating her knowledge in this field and has attended several national and international conferences and panels, such as the annual European Employment Lawyers Association conferences and the annual International Bar Association Employment Law Conferences, as well as several national conferences.

Founding managing partner Magda Volonciu is a university Professor, Ph.D in labour law, Ph.D coordinator for labour law and author of numerous scientific papers in this field with real practical and theoretical dimensions. She is consistently ranked in Band 1 by Chambers and Partners Europe that nominated her as “the most influential lawyer in labour law in Romania”(2009) and as dean of this field (2011) and a “key individual in the employment law market” (2015). Her practice focuses on consultancy and litigation services on all aspects related to employment, social insurances, and industrial relations legislation, practical interpretation of laws that impact the activity developed by the client, strategic planning, and management of work relations.
