UK: Data protection – Employee data breach

Morrisons appeal to the Supreme Court was heard recently, to overturn the Court of Appeal’s ruling that found Morrisons was liable for a data breach by their employee which resulted in around 5000 of their staff having their personal data stolen and published on the internet.
