Colombia: Vaccination Cards will be Required for Public and Private Events as of 16 November 2021

As of 16 November 2021, the Colombian National Government will require vaccination cards in order to attend public and private events of mass attendance, including sporting events, nightclubs, bars, restaurants and movie theaters, amongst other leisure-venues.

It is important to note that the complete set of vaccinations is not required, as it is only mandatory to have started the vaccination schedule. However, the Colombian Ministry of Health and Public Protection and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are granted the faculty to ask for the complete dosage at any moment esteemed convenient by these Public Entities.

Owners, managers or event organisers are in charge of making sure these requirements are met by the people attending their events. If they do not fulfill this obligation, competent authorities will carry out the legal consequences.
