Poland: The Act introducing remote work to Polish legal system has been announced
The act shall finally establish the rules for reimbursement of costs related to remote working, occupational health and safety standards and rules of control in the place of performance of remote work. The act also introduces occasional remote working, up to 24 days a year, which can be carried out at the employee’s request with fewer formalities. According to the new provisions, employers will be entitled to instruct remote working in certain situations.
The same act of February 6th 2023 introduces the provisions concerning sobriety check of employees and other persons performing work. The provisions on sobriety checks will come into force on February 21st 2023.
