SRS Legal
“SRS is always aware of what is needed to clarify our doubts. It has a dedicated team that is always available.”
Established in 1992, SRS Legal was the first Portuguese law firm to have a formal international association, providing full-service advice to national and international clients in all business areas.
SRS Legal is a multidisciplinary office and covers all areas of law; it has more than a hundred lawyers from various practice areas to respond to the needs of clients quickly, empathetically and innovatively.
The Employment and Social Security Department of SRS Legal was the first to emerge as a self-generating and autonomous practice area within a top-tier law firm in the Portuguese legal market, and within an international legal context, it was for many years singular to the market.
Being one of the largest Employment teams in Portugal, our expertise spans all areas of Labour Law in a very broad spectrum of markets and sectors and our Department is oriented by an innovative sub-specialization, each headed by a different partner or managing associate of the Department: Collective Bargaining/Collective Disputes, Compensation and Benefits Plans, HR Crossborder Advisory & International Support, Judicial and Administrative Litigation/Disciplinary Proceedings, Restructuring and Downsizing Projects, Senior Management Advisory, Social Security and Pension Plans.
We are honoured to be one of the few law firms that has an Employment practice area distinguished as Tier 1 in both Chambers and Legal 500, as well as having several lawyers ranked.
The Employment team defines itself by its objectivity, pragmatism, and problem-solving ability, aiming to create and preserve lasting relationships of trust. We are driven by the firm conviction (with proven experience) that in order to serve well, we must get to know and understand our clients’ culture, values and business.
