Jackson Lewis receives Praise from Industry Insiders
Jackson Lewis and several of its attorneys were recognised with multiple awards since the beginning of February. Principal Nicky Jatana has been named one of the “Most Influential Minority Attorneys in Los Angeles” by the Los Angeles Business Journal. Ms. Jatana was selected based on her commitment to diversity and inclusion and for excellence in her practice focusing on labour and employment law. Of Counsel Angela Quiles Nevarez received the prestigious “Top Lawyers Under 40” Award presented by the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA). The award honours lawyers who have demonstrated professional excellence, integrity, leadership, commitment to the Hispanic community, and dedication to improving the legal profession. Principals Kelvin C. Berens, Joseph G. Galagaza and Gillian P. Yee have been named winners of the 2019 Client Choice Awards. The Client Choice Awards, in conjunction with International Law Office and Lexology, recognises law firms and partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service. Principals David G. Islinger, Ryan P. Lessmann and Daniel D. Schudroff have been recognised by The BTI Consulting Group as 2019 Client Service All-Stars. Of Counsel Collin O’Connor Udell received the Amicus Service Award from the International Municipal Lawyers Association (IMLA). Ms. Udell was honoured for the amicus curiae brief she submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of IMLA in Mount Lemmon Fire District v. Guido.
