Jackson Lewis Designated Employment Litigation “Powerhouse” in BTI Litigation Outlook 2020
L&E Global is proud to announce that Jackson Lewis P.C., our member firm in the United States and one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, has once again landed on the BTI Litigation Outlook 2020 report, earning “Powerhouse” rankings in the categories of Complex Employment Litigation as well as Employment Litigation.
The report is based solely on in-depth interviews with leading legal decision makers. The BTI Consulting Group’s comprehensive analysis trends data from more than 9,000 corporate counsel client interviews conducted over the span of 20 years.“We are pleased to be recognised again as a litigation “Powerhouse” in two categories by BTI,” said Firm Co-Chairs Kevin G. Lauri and William J. Anthony. “BTI’s survey makes it clear that the litigation market is anticipated to continue to grow, and clients expect to spend more and see more litigation. Jackson Lewis remains committed to staying abreast of national litigation trends faced by employers and delivering the best possible results, by both providing exceptional client service and retaining a deep bench of top-notch litigators.”
“Our national presence ensures clients have easy access to the latest resources and best practices in workplace law,” continued Mr. Lauri and Mr. Anthony. “Our attorneys throughout the country understand the nuances of their local legal landscape, and every decision they make is backed by 900 practitioners who live and breathe labour and employment law. We are on track to have a record number of trial victories in 2019, which is a testament to the first-rate litigators we are able to attract and retain. We look forward to rolling out more programs such as Jackson Lewis’ Advanced Trial Techniques Academy to ensure our attorneys receive on-going training to further enhance and refine their courtroom skills.”
Each year, BTI reaches out to a strategically designed group of top legal decision makers at large organisations with $1 billion or more in revenue. The group targets decision makers in the industries who spend the most on legal affairs as well as thought leaders and innovative Chief Legal Officers. The survey also includes Chief Legal Operating Officers and business executives who hire and influence the selection and hiring of law firms. This year’s report states that the U.S. litigation market is expected to see growth for the third consecutive year.
“Clients are looking for law firms who can see how the litigation could grow larger quickly and want to see a plan and team who can back it up,” the report said.
