international employment law firm alliance L&E Global

L&E Global extends its reach in Southeast Asia with member Clyde & Co Clasis Singapore

L&E Global is proud to welcome Clyde & Co Clasis Singapore to our international alliance. As our new member firm in Singapore, Clyde & Co Clasis adds depth and experience to an already strong lineup of labour and employment law specialists in the Asia-Pacific region. This is the second Clyde & Co firm to join L&E Global, now covering both the United Kingdom and Singapore.

Established more than 20 years ago, the firm provides integrated services to domestic and international clients through a Joint Law Venture, Clyde & Co Clasis Singapore. This unique combination of Clyde & Co’s cross-border capabilities and Clasis LLC’s familiarity with local markets and practices offers clients advice that is comprehensive, yet balanced.

Partner Thomas Choo leads the employment, immigration and pensions practice of Clyde & Co Clasis Singapore. As a key member of the global employment group, Thomas advises on a wide range of non-contentious employment and immigration matters, including the reviewing and drafting of employment and service agreements and severance packages, establishment of complex incentivisation schemes for senior executives, and advising on Singapore laws and regulations in the area of employment, immigration and industrial relations.

“As you know, we are continually looking at opportunities to expand our alliance into key jurisdictions around the world, with new members who share our vision and meet our standards of client service,” said Jeroen Douwes, Executive Director of L&E Global.

“We are thrilled to become a member of L&E Global. Employers are increasingly demanding a legal service that can match the reach of their international operations and Singapore continues to grow as a hub for multinational companies’ APAC operations. L&E Global will enable us to offer our Singapore employment law services to more organisations across the world than ever before,” explained Thomas Choo, Partner and Head of the Employment practice at Clyde & Co Clasis Singapore.

“Our cross-border clients have long regarded Singapore as a key jurisdiction in the AsiaPac region, and accordingly we’re excited to add a Singapore firm of the quality of Clyde & Co Clasis to our alliance. We’ve worked extensively with Thomas and his team on a variety of matters, and I’m confident that with this group on board our collaboration with Clyde & Co Clasis will be a great success, both for our AsiaPac region and the alliance as a whole,” said John Sander, Chairman of L&E Global and co-leader of the International Employment Issues practice group at Jackson Lewis P.C.
