Türkiye: Minimum Attorneyship Fee Tariff Amended for 2024-2025

The losing party of a lawsuit in Turkey is required to pay attorney’s fee to the winning party. The fee amount is determined by the Court in accordance with the Minimum Attorneyship Fee Tariff (“Tariff”).
The Tariff has been amended and the new increased fees have been published on the National Gazette on 03.10.2024. Accordingly, starting from 03.10.2024, the minimum attorney’s fee to be paid by the losing party to the winning party at the end of a labour lawsuit has been increased to TRY 30,000 (which was previously TRY 17,900).
The Tariff also includes minimum attorney fees concerning various courts such as commercial courts, criminal courts and consumer courts. Fees may increase depending on the claimed amount as well as the result of the lawsuit.
