Poland: List of Shortage Occupations – Draft Regulation
The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy has drawn up a list of 329 occupations across 37 elementary occupation groups in which staffing shortages have been identified. The list forms an annex to the draft regulation on the catalogue specifying the occupation groups in which staffing shortages occur.
The introduction of the catalogue will enable voivodes to prioritise the processing of applications for work permits for foreign nationals employed in occupations recognised as shortage occupations, with a view to expediting the procedures and facilitating employers’ ability to meet their staffing needs.
The regulation is due to enter into force 14 days after its publication in the Journal of Laws.
