Poland: Act Simplifying PPK Communication Referred to First Reading
On May 6, 2026, a bill to amend the Employee Capital Plans (PPK) Act was referred for a first reading in committees. The bill aims to change how summons regarding the obligation to conclude a PPK management agreement are delivered.
Instead of traditional paper correspondence, entrepreneurs will receive such notifications via their ZUS electronic system account. These solutions aim to simplify contact between public administration and employers while further digitizing PPK obligations. The project also provides for changes in the rules for recognizing electronic delivery.
The provisions are expected to enter into force 14 days after their publication in the Journal of Laws.
