Poland: Expanded Access to the System for Electronic Contracts
On April 17, 2026, the Sejm passed an amendment to the Act on the ICT system for handling certain contracts, enabling the conclusion and management of selected agreements in electronic form.
The amendment significantly expands access to the system. Any interested entity, regardless of size or status, will be able to use its functionality. Previously, this was limited primarily to micro-entrepreneurs.
Planned changes also include:
- expanding the catalog of contracts to include volunteer agreements and employment-related documents (e.g., non-compete or training agreements).
- the ability to transfer contracts concluded outside the platform into the system for further electronic management.
- integration with public registers, including ZUS, KRS (National Court Register), and CEIDG (Central Register and Information on Economic Activity).
The act is set to enter into force 14 days after its announcement.
