The Legal 500 Recommends L&E Global’s Latin American Members in 2022

L&E Global congratulates our colleagues throughout Latin America for another strong showing in the recently published 2022 edition of The Legal 500 Latin America, who were once again recognised for excellence in the field of labour and employment law.

The Legal 500 is widely chosen for its definitive judgment of law firm capabilities. Decisions on rankings are based on merit alone. The research process considers feedback from over 300,000 clients worldwide, submissions from law firms and interviews with leading private practice lawyers, highlighting the practice area teams who are providing the most cutting edge and innovative advice to in-house counsel and business leaders, wherever in the world their work takes them.

What the say

• ‘The most important innovation is their alliance with L&E Global, which has contributed to the internationalisation of the firm and the standardisation of the quality of their services.’

• ‘Without a doubt, these are lawyers who are very prepared and experienced.’

• ‘They are committed and punctual in their commitments. Their strong point is that they have a great ability to perceive weaknesses and have a high level of expertise in the labour area.’

• ‘Practical and reasonable solutions.’

• ‘Great for their ability to respond to business requirements, which makes them extremely efficient.’

• ‘There’s no one like them. They are always at the forefront of issues, they use an informative bulletin with the latest labour regulations, which is sent to their clients and they keep us up to date on everything. In my opinion they have no comparison with any office in the country.’

Allende & Brea’s practice ‘goes beyond mere interpretation of the law’ and ‘seeks to collaborate with the company’s strategy by providing creative solutions in an adverse context’. The six-strong team handles the labour aspects of M&A and associated due diligence processes, the identification of labour liabilities, advises on local office and branch closures and assists with a variety of international issues. The Covid-19 pandemic led to an increase in medical and health consultancy work in the employment space, as well as advice related to large-scale furloughs and employment terminations. On the data front, the practice is also experienced in matters related to e-mail monitoring and privacy policies. Nicolás Grandi leads the team and focuses on employment advice for multinational and local corporations, especially regarding M&A, employee transfers, global transactions and labour litigation.
